UCAS Deadline & Making Choices

UCAS DEADLINE – January 15th
If you’re currently a student in Y13 or equivalent, the deadline for submitting your applications for HE through UCAS is nearly here!
This can be an exciting and stressful time for students, so make sure you’re looking after yourself and giving yourself enough time to submit a good quality application.
It might be the case that you’ve not decided what you want to study yet, or where you want to study it. It’s okay to be unsure, and there are plenty of resources and sites out there that can help you make these decisions.

UCAS - What To Study
UCAS has some of the best information and advice about choosing a subject. They also have access to a service called UniBuddy, where you can chat to real-life students about how they made their choices and discuss what concerns you might have about choosing a subject.
Discover Uni
Discover Uni can help you decide whether studying at University is the right choice for you. It can also help you explore what & where to study, and help you compare courses from different providers to find a course that’s perfect for you.
THE – UK University Rankings
Times Higher Education’s University Rankings is a national provider of more specific information about Universities in general. They also have a huge collection of student testimonials about studying in various cities and places, as well as some great advice from current students.
