National Careers Week – 4th-9th March

National Careers Week (NCW) is a one-week celebration of careers guidance and free resources in education across the UK. Our aim is to provide a focus for careers guidance activity at an important stage in the academic calendar to help support young people develop awareness and excitement about their future pathways. We are extremely excited to have taken the pledge and become a partner of the National Careers Week for a fourth time. HOP will have its own floor filled with impartial resources to help young people make informed confident decisions about their future. https://nationalcareersweek.com/

Humber Big Night Out National Careers Week – Wednesday 6th March 6pm-6:45pm

For National Careers Week, we want to try something different and give you the opportunity to engage parents in careers conversations. Working with partners at Humber and East Riding Local Enterprise Partnership (HEY LEP) and with the Greater Lincolnshire Careers Hub (GLEP) we want to offer you the chance to host a LIVE career broadcast in your school. We will provide you with a 45-minute session aimed at parents and carers talking about routes and pathways for young people in the Humber which you can simply host. We want as many schools as possible to join us for the event. The HEYLEP and GLLEP will share with you all you need to invite parents and the presentations/links for the night. We advise you engage your EA if you have one for the evening. To get more information please email- Gray Lucy l.gray@heylep.com.
